Awards for training attendance, website contributions & Ballarat MVPs

This year we thought we don’t want to wait until the end of season to hand out all our rewards. Instead, we want to honour outstanding players on an ongoing basis in order to encourage every club to give their best on and off the court all throughout the year. Fyi: Each of the players listed below was rewarded with some funky Renegades merchandise for their efforts.
Preseason Training Attendance:
The following players have had 100% training attendance for pre-season training, and they’ve all had a pretty good start into the new season:
Michael Cirillo
Chris McKenzie
Pat Kirley
Ballarat Tournament MVP:
The women’s MVP were Kelly Todisco and Sylvia Rienks
The men’s MVP was Gerard Delaney.
Congratulations to your outstanding performance in Ballarat!
Gerard has been a Renegade for quite some years. But for those who haven’t met him yet, Gerard has provided me with a short bio:
“I started my volleyball career during my secondary school studies at St Bernards College. Afterwards I joined the Renegades and am now in my 8th state league season at the club. I am currently a student at Swinburne University and work a casual job as a projectionist. I play volleyball to keep fit and enjoy myself and intend to keep on doing so for as long as my body lets me.”
Website Contribution Reward:
Jessica McMillan
Jess is a regular contributor to our website. She receives the award for her outstanding summary of the pre-season tournaments: Renegades Off To a Strong Start in 2011. Have a read!
We will have a website contribution reward each month. Please keep posting your photos, videos, and stories on the Renegades website.

Don't forget Chrissie!
Chrisse Mahon also received an award for excellent pre-season attendance. She only missed warm up once when she had to return home to seek out a right shoe.
thanks for the update
Thanks, I didn't have the information for the women's pre-season attendance. Chrissie has already had an amazing season, winning also the tournament MVP in Warrnambool.
