The 2nd round....

What a great 2nd round to the VVL state league for Renegades! The women's premier team continued their great start to the season with a 3-1 win over Monash! It was an excellent 1st set with all things coming together from the first serve. The game got a little closer in the 2nd with Monash taking the 3rd. Strong serving and good defence from the ever amazing Jas allowed us to take the 4th set and the match.

VVL Round 1 Wrap Up

It was a moderate start for the Renegades teams into the 2012 State League with 3 wins and 3 losses. The Premier Women’s team, strong as through most of the last few seasons, defeated Falcons in straight sets. Congratulations to the team and their new coach – Eric – a good start into the season! The Reserves Men won in 4 sets against Eastside Hawks. Unfortunately, (I think) this win came at the cost an injury – get well soon Pat Kirley! The Division 2 Women also won in 4 sets against Eastside Hawks – congratulations to the team and their new coach, Pat Vo!
